If you thought Miranda Kerr's dress for the Golden Globes was daring, think again.

English socialite Lady Victoria Hervey certainly turned heads on the red carpet at the Weinstein Company and Netflix's Golden Globes after party when she walked out in the most revealing dress of the night.

The dress is completely sheer down one side, leaving nothing to the imagination, and Lady Hervey made sure the sparkling number could be seen from its most revealing angles for optimal shock effect.

The sheer black number, by Indian fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, is not the first revealing gown the 37-year-old has worn. Hervey wore a similar see-through number which exposed her G-string on the 2012 Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

The former “It girl” is the daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol, and has made a name for herself through various enterprises. After working as a catwalk model for fashion houses including Dior, she opened a fashion boutique which only lasted a year. Hervey then turned to the small and big screen, taking a small part in the 2004 film RX and appeared in a number of British television programs. Although the aristocrat has dated several celebrities, including Boyzone member Shane Lynch, she is currently single.

Hervey steals the most revealing dress prize from actress Jaimie Alexander, who wore a black dress with sheer panels to the premier of Thor: The Dark World in last November. The strategically placed sheer panelling revealed plenty of flesh, and it was clear the actress went "commando".

While there was plenty of cleavage, and thigh-high dress splits certainly made waves on the red carpet, Lady Victoria Hervey takes our award for most shocking frock at the Golden Globes.
