Bee invasion at Dior boutique
A buzz ... Christian Dior. Photo: Bloomberg
Raf Simmons' second women's ready-to-wear show for Dior on Saturday might have been one of Paris Fashion Week's most buzzed about, but in Australia, the luxury brand had other things to worry about.
Sydney city workers walking down Castlereagh Street were confronted by police officers and pest exterminators as they walked past Dior's gleaming new flagship store yesterday.
It seems a colony of bees had attempted to move into the store's front entrance. Not a small colony either. As these pictures illustrate, there were a great deal of bees.

Now, a little white box is perched on the store's glass awnings.
The store never closed for business while the bees were being removed, with customers simply entering through the store's menswear section, which is around the corner on King Street.
The bees caused a small stir on Instagram.
