Cream can be so bad. So, so bad. Bridal, beige and dull. This week Lea Michele and Eve turned the colour around making simple chiffon frocks modern and sexy.
Key to these looks are the latte tone, a plunging V-neck and the long sleeves. Not too much skin and a non-traditional evening shape. Love.

Sometimes bad shoes happen to good outfits and beautiful women.
This week the curse of the clumpy shoe befell Cate Blanchett and Sharon Stone. Two perfectly lovely dresses were destroyed by scary black shoes. Beware the chunky ankle strap - it will shrink and stretch even the most A-list of legs and not in the right direction.

Sharon Stone - all I can see is the straps ... oh and the bag, missed that - shocking too.
I like Portia De Rossi. I like her new haircut, her wife (Ellen Degeneres) and I love this outfit.
Portia wore this summer shorts and silk combo to the Teen Choice Awards on Monday and it's a great example of effortless chic. Not trying too hard - just enough.

Actress Hayden Panettierre's dress at the Teen Choice Awards was dire. So dire I'm not going to show it to you (purple/ sequins/tight) - it will only ruin her shoes which were fabulous.
This is Brian Atwood at his most outrageous. Double neon ocelot print running down a 13cm heel to red platform and purple crocodile front. They're called the 'Fontanne'.
