Actress Jodi Gordon is the new face of Australian fashion label Charlie Brown.

Gordon, 27, has signed a six-month deal for Charlie Brown's spring/summer 2012-13 collection, reports News Limited.

She replaces former Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic as the fashion designer's new muse, according to The Sunday Telegraph.

Inaugural brand ambassador ... Tara Moss.

"It's an iconic Australian brand that's been around for a long time, so I'm absolutely honoured to be part of this campaign," Gordon has told the newspaper.

In another fashion endorsement announcement, award-winning author and model Tara Moss has been named as the new face of brand Jacquie E.

It's said to be the first time the label has signed a brand ambassador, which is part of a major overhaul of the brand that will try to engage more strongly with working mothers.

  • I'd choose Tara Moss over Jodi Gordon any day.

    • Jodi with those piercing eyes is simply gorgeous;
      The smile is very engaging as is Tara's.
      I think she will be a great brand ambassador- go Jodi!

        • such a pity to replace Laura.
          Having had the pleasure of meeting Laura a few times ( she is the daughter of a former work colleague) I can only attest that she is a very beautiful, dignified, well mannered, gracious and very well brought up young woman who will hopefully be a given another chance with another designer to contniue to bring some genuine class to the world of fashion.

          • Charlie Brown makes horrible clothes and accessories anyway. There are many better Australian options.

            • So, they decided to go with Jodi Gordon. The same Jody Gordon that had dealings with that bikie a few ago?

              Good going Charlie Brown.

              • we are all beautiful; we criticise how other cultures treat their women, but we forget how much more damage we are doing to our own women;, and very humane and attractive lady. we all have sisters and mothers and daughters....we want them to be healthy, and clean, and hold themselves well in society: that is the real formula of beauty; anything else is a fabrication, explotation, and abuse of women. Jodi is a beautiful person, just as she is.
