Sophie Dahl for Aubin & Wills.

Sophie Dahl has made her modelling comeback after a hiatus to write, marry, cook and have a baby.

Sophie Dahl is the new face of Aubin & Wills.

The model turned writer, wife, mother and TV-presenter has turned her hand back to the trade that propelled her into the spotlight after her infamous nude YSL Opium ad in 2000.

Campaign shots for the British label show the tousel-haired Dahl, 34, wearing a tweed jacket and camel wool coat in the bracing-looking countryside.

The British label's autumn 2012 collection includes camel wool coats and tweed jackets.

An accompanying video for the Autumn/winter 2012 line sees Mrs Jamie Cullum - the pair married in 2010 - walking and dancing in a pheasant-filled wood and parkland with Dutch male model, Andre Van Noord.

Grand-daughter of childrens' author Roald Dahl, the blonde, buxom beauty drifted away from modelling after facing campiagns for Alexander McQueen, Pringle, Versace and Gap. Discovered by the late Isabella Blow, Dahl was credited with changing the face of fashion, popularising plus-sized models.

A red-haired version of the wide-eyed, alabaster-skinned Dahl appeared in YSL's Opium campaign 12 years ago, an image that was to become one of the most complained about ads of all time, seen as sexually objectifying women.

Her latest incarnaton places her in the footsteps of Burberry muse Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and musician Carl Barat who have in the past fronted the preppy-chic label.

Ever the English rose, Dahl had her own cookery show, The Delicious Miss Dahl, and has written two fictional novels and two cookbooks.

She and jazz singer Cullum, 32, have a 16-month-old daughter, Lyra.
