WHO LIZ WATT, 28
I AM working in retail.
I AM WEARING a dress from Princess Highway, sunglasses from Carlisle Accessories in Balaclava, a cardigan from i.d.s, and these leopard-print leggings I bought in a discount store in Geelong. My shoes, by Melissa, I bought in a store on Chapel Street and my handbag is from Release the Hounds on Smith Street.
MY STYLE IS today I just wanted to wear these leggings so I based my outfit on that. I wanted to go a bit jungle.
I ADMIRE THE STYLE OF Madonna, she's a style icon. You see what she wore in the '80s and people are still wearing that. She's timeless and a fashion pioneer.
MY FAVOURITE LABELS include Alexander McQueen. He dressed his subjects really well. I love how he dressed Bjork and what he did for her in terms of iconic dresses. He did the swan dress, which was one of my favourites. You couldn't imagine anyone else wearing that, but it suited her. I also like local designers like Kuwaii, whose clothes are beautifully made and well designed for the woman's body, and they can also be worn as everyday wear. Oracles is great, too. The clothes are beautifully tailored and she uses her own fabric that she has designed, which is really colourful and fun.
MY FAVOURITE PLACE TO SHOP IS at Savers. It's great value and I like how you never know what you'll find.
MY BIGGEST FASHION MISTAKE WAS dreadlocks. Looking back, they were just really dirty and it's something I wouldn't do again.
WHEN I WAS A KID I used to dress up as the usual - a princess or a fairy.
I WOULD NEVER BE CAUGHT DEAD IN stilettos. I can't pull them off because I'm not comfortable in them.
