Music The person on the till chooses the music; when we visited in late November, The Doors were blaring through the "for sale" speakers.

Keep an eye out for The hunter-gatherer section at the front of this huge shop is full of retro goodies including fur coats, sturdy old suitcases and china sets like grandma's. The fashion here is particularly on-trend. Also good for comfy (though not necessarily pretty) couches and other share-house furniture staples.
Best thing spotted A French Morgan de Toi top for $5. There was also Usage and Abusage: A Guide to Good English, published 1999, $3. Prices are streamlined, so it's usually $4 for T-shirts, $2 for hats and $5 for jeans. You'll find good labels at that price, although some of the labels are ticketed with higher prices.
Watch out for The clothing racks are crowded; muscle is needed to see any clothes. Quality control is not a guarantee – check your goodies for holes, pulls and rips before parting with your dough.
Products and people Plenty of 20-somethings were searching through clothes, furniture and extensive bric-a-brac and book collections.
Verdict Completely and utterly hipsterfied. Ideal for putting together a whole wardrobe of second-hand clothes (including the wardrobe).
