The wombats are not happy. There are carrots in those vegetable gardens, behind the reinforcing mesh that is finally wombat proof, tall enough to stop the occasional wombat who has worked out how to climb, buried 60cm into the ground to stop them digging underneath, and with wire mesh over it to prevent small curious ones squeezing through.
