      • Steven, mathematically maybe. They need to win all five, must get percentage whenever its on offer (eg today) and their run home is rubbish - dons, crows in Adelaide and Sydney in Sydney.

Lost too many games they should have won

p.s. they have had some shocking second half fade outs too, so this one isn't done and dusted.

Speaking of which, can the tattooed fool get his mind on the game

        • Wear the Fox Hat, I think your Tiges have improved with the slow return of key players. What a shame Kings had to retire, I truly think he brought something special when he played and seemed to inspire those around him. A better footballer than he gave himself credit for.

        • Brought something special. Do you mean Toby Mitchell? I think Jake was an over rated player. 30 years of age and played 107 games. However, I think he would agree with your opinion. Over paid and under performed.

        • Paul, Toby Mitchell what's that got to do with how he played? You seem just another bagger. To play 100 AFL games you must be on. I never said he was a star, just better than he rated himself. Everytime he played, you could see he played with passion and genuine love of the jumper ie Tigers. Sometimes these type of players bring more to a team than a star player who is hot and cold and because he finds the game so easy does not value his jumper like the player who is a level or two below him.

      • Every season proves that extending the finals to include 7th & 8th is silly and all those teams trying for those spots are not in the same league as the top 6.

        • Not necessarily. For instance, 8th has beaten 5th quite a few times in the first week of finals since 2000.
