Waters is unmarked inside the Eagles' forward 50m but marking and playing on from 25m he sprays his shot across the face! Could have sealed the match, instead it's three goals difference with 4.01 remaining.

GOAL!
Ball-up 30m out from St Kilda goal and Dal Santo sharked Cox's tap to snap a goal! Saints back within three goals with 5.14 left on the count-down clock.

West Coast 16.11 (107) St Kilda 12.12 (84) - Q4 15.44

West Coast 16.10 (106) St Kilda 11.12 (78) - Q4 12.08

West Coast 16.9 (105) St Kilda 11.12 (78) - Q4 9.54
GOAL!
That might be the sealer for West Coast as McGinnity runs into an open goal. Saad was charging into St Kilda's attacking 50m but he underestimated Glass' own speed and got caught holding the ball. West Coast went end-to-end and the ball fell off hands to McGinnity who read it best.

Hurn kicks a 60m point with a misguided torpedo punt. First score of the last quarter.

West Coast 15.7 (97) St Kilda 11.10 (76) - Q4 First Bounce
Adam Selwood is struggling with his gloved hand covering some split webbing. Cripps has gone down to the rooms with a knee injury and that might mean the Saints are down to 2 on the bench for the final quarter.

West Coast 15.7 (97) St Kilda 11.10 (76) - Three-quarter time
A gutsy comeback in that quarter from St Kilda but ultimately only closed the margin to 21 points. Very little margin for error in the final term. Dean Cox has kicked five goals for West Coast while Riewoldt has three for the Saints.

West Coast 14.7 (91) St Kilda 10.10 (70) - Q3 22.55
Milne kicks a point across the face in a rush after crumbing from a dropped Goddard mark...Goddard dropped the mark becasue Glass chopped his arms but the umpire was not forthcoming with a free kick!

West Coast 14.7 (91) St Kilda 10.9 (68) - Q3 19.37
GOAL!
Milera converts from the goalsquare after marking uncontested. Huge battle inside St Kilda's forward 50m as Eagles battled to escape but the Saints trapped the ball in to set up the goal.

West Coast 14.7 (91) St Kilda 9.8 (62) - Q3 15.24
Montagna looked like he'd volleyed through a goal but it flicked Glass' arm on the way past, rushed behind. Cox went down with cramp in the build-up but is able to get to his feet.

West Coast 14.7 (91) St Kilda 9.7 (61) - Q3 14.21
GOAL!
Josh Hill with a poor turn-over on the half-back line leaves a three-on-one in St Kilda's favour. Cripps runs into an open goal to peg back the margin a little bit more.

West Coast 14.7 (91) St Kilda 8.7 (55) - Q3 12.44
Let off for the Saints as Adam Selwood puts a 30m set shot across the face from a slight angle. He was lining up after earning a high tackle free kick.

GOAL!
Big miss from Armitage from 40m out almost directly in front...but West Coast turn the ball over from the kick-in and Armitage gets the ball 5m closer to goal! He converts and the Saints are all over the Eagles who may well have fallen into the trap of thinking it was job done at half time.

West Coast 13.6 (84) St Kilda 7.5 (47) - Q3 2.31
GOAL!
Saad's turn to hit the scoreboard as St Kilda get the quick clearance and convert the inside-50m. Saints on a mini-run.

West Coast 13.6 (84) St Kilda 6.5 (41) - Q3 1.47
GOAL!
Perfect start for the Saints with Cripps converting a 35m set shot from a tight angle.

West Coast 13.6 (84) St Kilda 5.4 (34) - Q3 - First Bounce
Can the Saints bounce back or will the Eagles boost thier percentage at the top of the table in the second half?

Carlton 8.7 (55) Adelaide 19.10 (124) - FULL TIME
Adelaide has shrugged its Melbourne losing streak by kicking away from Carlton in a dominant display. Four goals to Dean Cox has put the Eagles firmly in control of the match with less than a minute until the half-time siren.

West Coast 11.4 (70) St Kilda 4.4 (28) - Q2 22.21
GOAL!
Dean Cox puts through his third for the Eagles and after a double-strike early in the quarter this game is out of the Saints' control or reach.

Carlton 8.7 (55) Adelaide 15.9 (99) - Q4 13.19
Kreuzer's frustrating afternoon continues as he puts a shot from 30m into the post. Three possessions up to the last change for the Carlton tall but a goal at least in the last.

Lynch gets the quick reply again for West Coast with his first of the game.

Carlton 7.6 (48) Adelaide 14.9 (93) - Q4 0.29

Nick Riewoldt's second gets the second quarter started the same way the first did.

Carlton 7.6 (48) Adelaide 13.9 (87) - Three-quarter time
Adelaide in control of the contest with more midfield winners while Carlton has very little happening in its forward line. Callinan has been dangerous wth three goals while Dangerfield is up to 27 possessions. Scotland has 24 possessions for Carlton but Murphy has been subbed out with a suspected shoulder injury.

Carlton 7.5 (47) Adelaide 13.9 (87) - Q3 25.51

Nomination for goal of the week from Josh Jenkins. The big man caught a mark on centre wing and took two bounces, ran his full measure and kicked a 50m goal on the lumber! Superb finish.

West Coast 6.2 (38) St Kilda 1.4 (10) - Quarter Time
Not looking good for St Kilda at the first change with West Coast kicking six straight goals after Riewoldt snared the opener. Stanley is already out of the game with a hamstring injury and Cripps the sub has been activated.

Henderson marks and kicks a much needed goal for the Blues.

Carlton 6.5 (41) Adelaide 12.9 (81) - Q3 16.58
GOAL!
Callinan got loose to mark 45m from goal and converts the 50m set shot. Suddenly it's the Crows by 40 points! Still 9.20 remaining in the third quarter but only one team looks a winner from here.

Carlton 6.5 (41) Adelaide 11.9 (75) - Q3 13.35
GOAL!
Clever goal from Callinan! The ball was in heavy traffic about 15m from goal but Callinan kicked the ball along the ground out of congestion, it took a favourable bounce up into his arms and he put the ball through from the goalsquare.

West Coast 4.2 (26) St Kilda 1.3 (9) - Q1 16.43
GOAL!
Naitanui marks and kicks his first goal of the game and the Eagles are already out to a handy lead.

Carlton 6.4 (40) Adelaide 10.9 (69) - Q3 9.13
GOAL!
Garlett goals from the square after Carlton went end-to-end from Doughty's miss. Steps one and two in turning the momentum in the Blues' favour.

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 10.9 (69) - Q3 7.53
Doughty got a 50m penalty from Thornton that took him to 15m out...but he missed! Could that sap a bit of the Crows' momentum?

Dean Cox converts from 30m out on a slight angle

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 10.8 (68) - Q3 4.02
GOAL!
Adelaide turned the ball over as Carlton escaped defensive 50m but a hospital ball to Vince in the corridor was spoiled...straight into Callinan's hands, he fed Thompson who ran to 45m and goaled. Great defensive pressure.

GOAL!
West Coast hit back through Shuey wide on the boundary.

West Coast 0.1 (1) St Kilda 1.1 (7) - Q1 4.13
GOAL!

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 9.6 (60) - Q3 First Bounce
Chris Yarran subbed in for Marc Murphy to start the second half. Tom Lynch still in the green vest for Adelaide.

West Coast 0.0 (0) St Kilda 0.1 (1) - Q1 1.57
Physical opening with Lynch going back with the flight bowled over by Simpkin coming out of the Saints' defensive 50m. Plenty of hard hits early.

West Coast 0.0 (0) St Kilda 0.0 (0) - Q1 First Bounce
So Carlton's Monday night form is currently holding true...will St Kilda's?

West Coast v St Kilda - Pre-Match
Scratch that last comment - Beau Waters has appeared out of the tunnel and WILL play for West Coast this afternoon. Injury scare in the warm-up obviously not serious. Emergency Lewis Stephenson did warm up after a lengthy pre-match chat between Waters and coach John Worsfold.

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 9.6 (60) - HALF TIME
Five unanswered Adelaide goals in that quarter and if anything the Blues were saved by the siren with the ball deep in the Crows' forward line when it rang. Marc Murphy looks like he will not return from a suspect shoulder injury - he collided with Dangerfield as both slid in for a 50-50 ball. Dangerfield has 17 possessions and Scott Thompson 16, while Scotland has 17 for the Blues and Judd 12. Bernie Vince has kicked three goals.

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 9.6 (60) - Q2 31.12
GOAL!
Josh Jenkins took a big mark in the forward pocket right on the boundary line...then casually ran around and snapped a goal! Just 14 seconds left in the quarter.

Carlton 5.4 (34) Adelaide 8.6 (54) - Q2 27.58
GOAL!
Vince kicks a 50m set shot to capitalise on Adelaide's current control on the contest. Murphy is in the rooms being treated but Yarran has not removed the vest. Still 2.00 to go on the count-down clock.

Carlton 5.3 (33) Adelaide 7.6 (48) - Q2 23.43
GOAL!
Vince controls a ball bouncing loose close to the goal-line and manages to snap over his shoulder to squeeze the ball inside the post! Still no decision from Carlton on Murphy.

Carlton 5.3 (33) Adelaide 6.6 (42) - Q2 20.55
Yarran being warmed up on the sidelines as Murphy is assessed. Still 6.30 to go on the count-down clock so a big gamble if the Blues want to hold out until half time.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 6.6 (42) - Q2 18.12
Marc Murphy is hurt after he and Dangerfield slid in 50-50 on a loose ball. It could be a left arm or wrist injury for Murphy who is being assisted from the ground by the trainers.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 6.6 (42) - Q2 16.14
GOAL!
Mackay kicks his second from a 30m set shot. Petrenko bounced the ball almost like a basketball at the top of the 50m, fed it out wide to Wright who then spotted Mackay 25m out directly in front.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 5.6 (36) - Q2 12.24
Lock-down footy at the moment...Tippett looks set to continue and the Crows' official Twitter account has declared he is "ok!"

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 5.6 (36) - Q2 8.33
Tippett limps to the boundary with a left knee injury suffered as he landed in a marking contest. He is able to jog up and down the boundary line but he looks troubled.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 5.6 (36) - Q2 4.05
GOAL!
Simplicity works a treat for the Crows as Tippett taps down to Van Berlo 10m out and the skipper kicks low and straight for a goal! No Blues player could put a hand on him at the stoppage.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 4.5 (29) - Q2 - First bounce
Action underway at Etihad with the Blues up by three points

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 4.5 (29) - Quarter Time
A number of lead changes in the first quarter with Dangerfield on fire with 10 possessions for the Crows, while Judd has eight for the Blues and already two goals each for Simpson and Garlett.

Carlton 5.2 (32) Adelaide 4.5 (29) - Q1 after the siren
GOAL!
Garlett goals on the quarter-time siren with a 30m set shot. Great end-to-end run by Carlton with Armfield starting on the last line of defence breaking out of the backline, to Judd in midfield, who passed to Garlett.

Carlton 4.2 (26) Adelaide 4.5 (29) - Q1 26.55
Tippett snaps a point for the Crows...Josh Jenkins took an air-swing at a loose ball in the goalsquare moments earlier and the ball was tied up for a bounce.

Brisbane 19.18 (132) GWS 5.10 (40) - FULL TIME
Brisbane win by 92 points in a game that had a long middle period of uninspiring struggle. Brisbane started in a blaze with Merrett's five first-quarter goals on the way to a bag of seven, Brown was consistent in kicking five and Rockliff kicked three in the final quarter to accompany his 36 possessions. Callan Ward (24 touches) was GWS's best.

Brisbane 19.18 (132) GWS 5.8 (38) - Q4 27.23
GOAL!
Dom Tyson kicks a 50m goal after a cluster of running bounces to get GWS back under the 100-point margin in the final minute.

Carlton 4.1 (25) Adelaide 4.2 (26) - Q1 20.57
GOAL!
Mackay was bumped by Simpson with front-on contact to the head...he converts the 35m set shot to put Adelaide back in front. It didn't look like sufficient force to raise the attention of the MRP.

Brisbane 19.18 (132) GWS 4.8 (32) - Q4 24.39
Bewick kicks a point for Brisbane to make the margin 100 points exactly.

Carlton 4.1 (25) Adelaide 3.2 (20) - Q1 18.05

Thornton marked on the lead and converted a 45m set shot to put the Blues back in front.

Carlton 3.1 (19) Adelaide 3.2 (20) - Q1 16.25
GOAL!

Carlton 2.0 (12) Adelaide 3.2 (20) - Q1 14.38
GOAL!
Adelaide convert a flowing move with Vince getting on the end of a 50m kick to the hot-spot then trotting into an open goal.

Brisbane 19.16 (130) GWS 4.8 (32) - Q4 17.52

Brisbane 18.16 (124) GWS 4.8 (32) - Q4 14.24
GOAL!
Rockliff with his second goal in three minutes. Still plenty of time left on the count-down clock so a triple-figure margin is now an unfortunate possibility for GWS.

Brisbane 17.16 (118) GWS 4.8 (32) - Q4 12.55
GOAL!
Floodgates open. Rockliff kicks a 50m goal and now the resistance that locked the game down in the second and third quarters is relenting.

Carlton 2.0 (12) Adelaide 0.1 (1) - Q1 6.40
Tippett gets Adelaide's first sight at goal but his 45m set shot is wide to the right-hand side and through for a behind only.

Brisbane 16.16 (112) GWS 4.8 (32) - Q4 11.37
GOAL!
Seven for Daniel Merrett after a big hanger and successful set shot! It won't beat Jeremy Howe for mark of the week but the Brisbane fans enjoyed that one.

Carlton 2.0 (12) Adelaide 0.0 (0) - Q1 4.27
GOAL!
Kade Simpson again, this time with a set shot to get Carlton off to a flying start.

Merrett kicks his sixth at long last! A 45m long bomb with 1.42 to go on the count-down clock.

Brisbane 11.13 (79) GWS 4.5 (29) - Q3 14.51
GOAL!
At last a drought-breaker for Brisbane with Brown kicking a set-shot goal. This game has really descended into a scrap and a test of the Giants' defensive honesty.

GOAL!
GWS on the board first through Andrew Phillips.

Brisbane 10.9 (68) GWS 3.5 (23) - HALF TIME
Junk time well and truly set in after quarter time with Jonathan Brown and Simon Black turning back the clock the highlight along with Merrett's five first-quarter goals. Callan Ward has 13 possessions for GWS while Rockliff (19) leads all comers and Daniel Rich (13) has been prominent.

Brisbane 8.5 (53) GWS 2.4 (16) - Q2 10.13
GOAL!
A scrappy segment of the game ends with a 50m penalty for Zorko, taking him to 40m out. The kick doesn't spin quite right but still has enough juice to clear the pack!

Brisbane 7.3 (45) GWS 2.3 (15) - Q2 2.09
GOAL!
Tom Scully gets a free kick at a boundary throw-in for holding and converts a regulation set shot. GWS on the board in the second quarter.

Action underway in the second quarter. Will Merrett's goals dry up?

Brisbane 7.3 (45) GWS 1.2 (8) - Quarter Time
GWS were hopeless in their defensive 50m, conceding a score at a rate worse than every second inside-50m entry from the Lions. Merrett and Brown had it all their own way in the air. GWS have been scrappy, conceding a number of classic second-to-the-ball free kicks and also committing three throws in that term.

Brisbane 7.3 (45) GWS 1.2 (8) - Q1 After Siren

Brisbane 7.2 (44) GWS 1.2 (8) - Q1 26.56
Merrett misses a chance for his sixth! Mohr won the one-on-one in the air 20m out from goal but then overran the spill, leaving Merrett to get first hands on the loose ball...only for a desperate reach from Mohr to tip the ball out of Merrett's hands and spill the ball again! What a chance to kick his sixth for the term.

Brisbane 5.1 (31) GWS 1.2 (8) - Q1 17.31

GWS on the board after a high tackle on Nathan Wilson gives him a set-shot opportunity 40m out...which he converts! GWS still giving a decent level of effort everywhere bar some of the loose checking in the back 50m.

GOAL!
Merrett roves his own ruck tap and chases it out towards the forward pocket 30m from goal...he bends a snap around his body and puts it through from a tight angle! Not a bad start at all.
