A proud Panthers captain Kevin Kingston after the match:

"That one was very satisfying ... It's not a coincidence when he (Matt Moylan) started playing that we start winning"

He's not wrong. Moylan was calm, composed, direct and lethal in attack. THe youngster can kick a deft grubber and clear his lines. He's one to watch for mine. Isaac Luke's efforts couldn't be faulted but the Panthers forwards were disciplined and hungry.
For the Dragons, the one shining light was Josh Dugan. He covered a lot of ground in attack, delivering a faultless display.
Panthers deserved winners though in what must be a very satisfying result for the Panthers fans, coach and players alike.

That's it from this one, join me and League HQ for the call of the Roosters v Storm clash at Allianz Stadium.

That'll do it. Fulltime at Win Jubilee Stadium.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 19

79th min: Luke Walsh finally kicks a field goal. One in five attempts. The Dragons start to leave the field but have to take the re-start.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 19

78th min: Matt Moylan again answers everything the Dragons fire at him this time the high-ball. The very next play he breaks the line and offloads. He's been complete tonight.

77th min: Matt Moylan fires off his own field-goal attempt. Almost takes the ref's head off as the official gets in the way.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

75th min: Jason Nightingale crosses the line before the ref again disallows a Dragons try. This time for a Soward knock-on. Still nothing to celebrate for the Dragons. The Panthers defence is fierce. They might not be the most talented side, but their workrate is extraordinary. Ivan Cleary really has worked wonders on this Panthers side.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

74th min: Joshua Dugan again streaks forward breaking the Panthers line. He's been the Dragons' best tonight by far.

73rd min: Luke Walsh takes his third shot at a field goal. Hit's the post. Ball rebounds into Dugan's hand before he is taken high by Sika Manu. Penalty Dragons.

72nd min: Delicate Matt Moylan grubber looks to have been grounded by Daniel Vidot. Six again for Penrith.

70th min: Luke Walsh misses his second field goal attempt as the Dragons' Jack Stockwell commits a forward pass to the collective sighs from the Dragons faithful.

67th min: Michael Weyman called for a high shot. Nothing untoward in that tackle. Just a free kick. Sensible refereeing. Bit of frustration in that tackle. Relief for the Panthers who have been working so hard in defence so far.

66th min: Jason Nightingale's leg looks fine as he runs the ball back for the Dragons.

    Dragons' best: Fullback Josh Dugan.

Dragons' best: Fullback Josh Dugan. Photo: Getty Images

63rd min: Great run by Josh Dugan who tries to kick past Moylan but the Panthers has his measure sticking out a leg to deflect the ball and halt Dugan's run.

Dragons winger Jason Nightingale looks to be injured as he receives treatment by the trainer on the pitch.

61st min: Panthers defence has been massive in the second half as Dragons captain Ben Creagh barnstorms at the Panthers defence. He's doing his fair share of work the big second rower.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

54th min: No try. Video ref ruled a knock-on in touch off Vidot! That is rediculous. At the very least, Nathen Fien took a very heavy, late hit before he kicked which shold result in a Dragons penalty. Panthers get the re-start. I can't agree with the video ref's decision there.

Try referral for the Dragons. Nathan Fien cross-field kick padded back under pressure off Penrith's Travis RobinsonDaniel Vidot touches the ball forward but regathers without the ball touching the ground. Should be a try to the Dragons.

Here is our man on the ground Michael Chammas with his view on the first half.

"The Dragons look disinterested tonight. Penrith are playing with plenty of enthusiasm and are playing for each other. I'm not sure if Trent Merrin already has his mind on Origin but he isn't having the impact he's had all season. The player looking most likely to threaten for the Dragons is Josh Dugan. If he can have a big second half he might just be able to ignite his new side into action."

50th min: Another grubber tests Matt Moylan who patienty waits for the ball to cross the deadball line. Calm under pressure the young fullback. He's been my man of the match so far. Mose Masoe drops the ball on the next set of six for the Panthers. Momentum well with the Dragons in this second half.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

48th min: Nathan Fien grubber bounces awkwardly for Panthers fullback Matt Moylan who does enough to save the try. Dragons are knocking here at Win Jubilee. The crowd are sensing the increased workrate and are getting behind their side for the first time in the match.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

44th min: Dragons attack breaks down in the hands of Josh Dugan. Bronsen Harrison breaks the Panthers line. Suprisingly Jack de Belin running in support recieves and offloads to Dugan who drops the ball. Panthers let off the hook. The Dragons do look menacing though. Obviously got a spray from Steve Price during the break.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18

Josh Dugan looks dangerous early as the Dragons try to take on the Panthers line. They look a lot more energetic in this second half. Nothing comes of their first set of six though.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 18.

And we're off in the second half. Can the Panthers win on the road for the first time this season? Have your say by making a comment.

Some stats for the tragics. A noteworthy stat is the lack of linebreaks by the Dragons.

Halftime. The Panthers have been worth every point of their 18-0 lead. They have looked dangerous with their speedy play the ball unlike the Dragons offence which has lacked composure and execution. Matt Moylan and Isaac John wrecked havoc early for the Pennies while the Dragons been in a position ot spread the ball wide.

Lewis Brown hobbles from the field. Unknown what injury he has suffered. Sika Manu comes on for the Panthers.

38th min: Field goal attempt by Luke Walsh misses. That's unlike him with his accuracy in front of goal.

36th min: Try Panthers. Lewis Brown dummies, spins and offload's to Dean Whare who did well to put the ball down over the line under pressure from the Dragons. That was a pretty play from the Ivan Cleary signing.
Luke Walsh again converts from the sideline. The Dragons need to switch on here. This match could be beyond them if they don't start holding onto the ball.
    Drgons 0 Panthers 18

33rd min: Poor forward pass from Nathan Fien on the last. Spreading the ball right was the right play but it was poorly executed. The halfback hasn't delivered the telling ball in this game yet.

30th min: The Panthers have been resolute in defence, dealing with everything the Dragons have thrown at them. They have developed a steely resolve and dogged determination of late having won three of their last four matches.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 12

Penalty Panthers. Nathan Fein lingers to long in the tackle. That's the second penalty against the Dragons halfback.

James Segeyaro looks set to come on for the Pennies. Dragons will have to concentrate when the Papua New Guinea talent comes on the pitch.

24th min: Chance Panthers - Luke Walsh grubber rolls dead past the Dragons in-goal. Dragons breathe a sigh of relief.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 12

22nd min: Powerful run from Moylan who falls just short of the tryline. He's having a storming match. Dragons penalised for taking way too long to release the player. The Panthers are looking dangerous. Six more Panthers.

Brett Morris is back: Good news for the Dragons and New South Wales.

Back in the fray: Brett Morris started for the Dragons. Surely he will be named in the NSW squad.

Back in the fray: Brett Morris started for the Dragons. Surely he will be named in the NSW squad. Photo: Getty Images

Jamie Soward went left with a ball two metres behind Brett Morris on the wing. Why didn't he take the tackle in good field position. If he opened his eyes he should have seen the long ball wasn't on. Poor decision making from the future Panther.

10th min:  Panthers fullback Matt Moylan scores again on the back of Kevin Kingston flying out of dummy half. The young fullback's support-play presents him with his second for the match. Luke Walsh converts.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 12.

It looks like Daniel Vidot has started on the wing with Jason Nightingale starting in the centres for the Dragons.

6th min: Try Panthers. Fullback Matt Moylan crosses for the first try of the match. The left hand side again proves beneficial for the Panthers. Poor defence outplayed by fast passing as Panthers spread the ball wide. Luke Walsh converts from the sideline.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 6

No try: Video rules Isaac John was denied to chance to make a tackle on Bronsen Harrison by the positioning of Dan Hunt.

3rd minute: Is that a try? Was it obstruction by Dan Hunt as Bronsen Harrison bundles his way over the line for the Dragons.
    Dragons 0 Panthers 0.

The Josh Dugan - Jamie Soward combination looks dangerous early in this one.

Kickoff here at WIN Jubilee Oval as Nigel Plum, who has never beaten the Dragons in five attempts, runs the ball back for the opening hit-up.

Brett Morris's return be the catalyst for the Dragons win?

In Dragons team news, Brett Morris has overcome his knee injury and will start on the wing. Cameron King will start while Matt Cooper and Matt Prior will sit out this one with Daniel Vidot moving to the centres. James Roberts comes onto the Panthers bench in place of Ryan Simpkins.

Phil Mitchell writes: What Ivan Cleary lacks in charisma he makes up for in coaching nous. Penrith’s dour clipboard-holder has done a terrific job with a rag-tag playing roster, guiding the club to the cusp of the top eight after three wins in their past four matches. Last weekend the Panthers fell only five points short of scoring their biggest-ever win when they demolished the Warriors 62-6.

The big question mark about Penrith is their ability to win away from home – all of their victories this season have been at Centrebet Stadium. The Panthers have also traditionally fared poorly at Kogarah, winning only three of 27 matches. The Dragons snapped a three-game losing streak last weekend when they put away Parramatta, and must win this one to stay in touch with the top eight.

    Phil's tip: Dragons by 10

AAP writes: An interesting clash between two sides who have defied early-season predictions. The Dragons looked a completely different side in attack last week with the inclusion of Josh Dugan and he will only be better for the run. The Panthers have cast aside aspersions over their claims on the wooden spoon with a shock win over premiers Melbourne and a 62-6 thumping of the hapless Warriors. Dugan’s efforts have some installing the Dragons as top-eight likelies and if they are they will want to win games like this. The Dragons are tough to beat at Kogarah and Penrith’s best results this year have come at home.

Key: Josh Dugan. The former Raider was outstanding last week. If he can build on that and their forwards continue their good form the Dragons will be too strong.

DRAGONS: Josh Dugan, Daniel Vidot, Chase Stanley, Matt Cooper, Jason Nightingale, Jamie Soward, Nathan Fien, Dan Hunt, Mitch Rein, Michael Weyman, Bronson Harrison, Ben Creagh (capt), Trent Merrin. Interchange: Tyson Frizell, Matt Prior, Jack de Belin, Jack Stockwell, Cameron King (one to be omitted)

PANTHERS: Matt Moylan, Travis Robinson, Lewis Brown, Dean Whare, David Simmons, Isaac John, Luke Walsh, Nigel Plum, Kevin Kingston (capt), Tim Grant, Sika Manu, Matt Robinson, Adam Docker. Interchange: James Segeyaro, Mose Masoe, Clint Newton, Ryan Simpkins.
