Live: Brumbies v Crusaders

80: But7 Pat McCabe gets bundled into touch from the restart and the siren sounds. Crusaders lineout, the visitors win it and that's all she wrote. The Brumbies get a bonus point to give them a two point lead over the Reds on the Australian conference ladder. Crusaders were clearly the better side on the night and deserved the win. Crusaders win 30-23.

80: Suddenly the Brumbies have come alive and are inside Crusaders 22. Mowen taken out off the ball, could be some action taken here. Penalty Brumbies. Bizarrely the Crusaders doctor is talking to the ref arguing the Crusaders tackler was injured and didn't know what he was doing. Lealiifano with the shot and he nails it. Brumbies now have a bonus point and a chance of a draw with 34 seconds left. Crusaders 30-23.

76: Brumbies have a slight chance of a bonus point now...

74: So just one point will separate the  Brumbies from the Reds at the top of the Australian conference after this loss. There'll be non fairytale win for Smith in his record 137th Super Rugby game despite a massive game from the openside flanker. Consolation try for the Brumbies as captain Mowen goes over, quickly converted by Lealiifano. Crusaders 30-20.

50: Crusaders work the overlap with Ryan Crotty getting the offload away and it ends up with winger Zac Guildford to charge to the corner. Big test now for the Brumbies to see if they can come back from here. They're really struggling to maintain possession. Carter successful with the extras. Crusaders 17-10.

44: Brumbies hooker Steve Moore struggling with his lineout throws, but luckily the Crusaders knock on as he overthrows the line...

Joe Tomane starting to get some ball out wide...

Half-time: A bit of a scrappy first half comes to an end. Crusaders dominating possession and forcing the Brumbies to defend their try line on numerous occasions. George Smith is playing a blinder in his record-breaking 137th game for the Brums. At times he's been used as a third ball player, putting through a lovely grubber kick for Joe Tomane at one stage. Plus he's making his mandatory 3000 tackles as well.

37: A penalty to the Brumbies! Jesse Mogg to take a long-range attempt from the halfway line, but he completely scuffs it and we'll end up with a lineout for the Brumbies near the halfway line. Chance to take the lead into half-time goes begging. Not long till the break.

Plenty of debate about whether George Smith should wear the Wallabies No.7 jersey against the British and Irish Lions. At least one person thinks he should...

32: Crowd comes alive at Canberra Stadium as George Smith pinches it at the breakdown and the Brumbies are just metres out, but Ben Alexander knocks on as the tryline begs to be breached. Scrum time...
