Melbourne Grammar School has suspended a student who created a “hit list’’ of dozens of his classmates and spoke about killing them.

Copies of the disturbing list have been circulated among senior students at the prestigious private school and includes a short, offensive description against each child’s name.
“I don’t think I’ll be able to kill him he never shows up anyway,” one entry on the list says.
Other students are chastised for being gay, being a feminist, having bad teeth and having a low IQ.
The document is titled 'HITLIST 2018 (Revamped)' and includes at least one other reference to killing a fellow student.
Melbourne Grammar School headmaster Roy Kelley said the school had been in discussions with Victoria Police, who had indicated they would not take further action at this stage.
“Melbourne Grammar School is aware of the compilation of a ‘negative’ list of students in the senior school, created by a fellow student,” Mr Kelley said.
“We regard this incident as a very serious matter. We consider the actions of the student involved in creating this list to be unacceptable.”
He said the school had acted swiftly, and decided to suspend the student. The school was working through the issue with students and their families and providing counselling.
“The health and safety - both physical and emotional - of all students at Melbourne Grammar School is of paramount importance,” he said.
The list is organised into alpha, bravo, charlie and delta groups and gives each student a ranking.
One student on the list is called a “communist that supports women’s rights’’ another a “snarky lil bitch’’ while another is “degenerate weeb trash’’.
Some are listed for having previously “made fun’’ of the student in the past or for even for being “too honest, so I can’t manipulate him much’’.
A copy of the list, obtained by The Age, has been seen by students and parents at the school.
One concerned parent said there had been a lack of information provided to them from the school.
Melbourne Grammar is one of Victoria’s wealthiest and most prestigious schools.
At the 2010 state election, the leaders of both the Labor party and Liberal party, John Brumby and Ted Baillieu, had been classmates at the school.
The school’s alumni include three former prime ministers Malcolm Fraser, Stanley Bruce and Alfred Deakin as well as Maurice Blackburn, the founder of the law firm of the same name.
Other notable alumni include Barry Humphries and historian Manning Clark.
Its most recent financial report lodged with the charities regulator showed it had more than $70 million in revenue in 2016 and total assets of more than $200 million.
