A teenager has been arrested after a woman was slashed with a samurai sword in a brawl at a shopping centre in Adelaide's south.
The 17-year-old Hackham boy was arrested on Sunday after a fight between a number of people broke out in the car park of the Hackham shopping centre, police said.
Officers were called to the car park about 1am (AEDT) on Sunday after reports of a teenager being sighted with a samurai sword.
A woman was treated at hospital for lacerations to her lower arm.
The teenager was arrested and charged with carrying an offensive weapon, aggravated assault causing harm and aggravated affray.
He will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
