The ACT has scooped the pool at a national real estate awards night.
The Independent Property Group capped another successful year by dominating the 2009 Real Estate Institute of Australia National Awards for Excellence, taking out three of the 16 categories, including large residential agency of the year, communications award, and residential salesperson of the year.
LJ Hooker Tuggeranong took out the award for best medium residential agency of the year.
The winners of the awards, recognised for their outstanding contributions to the real estate profession, were announced at a ceremony in Melbourne on Thursday night.
Independent Property Group chief executive John Runko said, ''The awards have been going for four years and this is the third time we've picked up large residential agency of the year.
''It's a reflection of how we look after clients and provide the best service we can. It's about getting the best people and giving them the best training to look after clients.''
