Police are investigating an alleged home invasion at Greenway on Sunday night when offenders wearing balaclavas and armed with a baseball bat assaulted two men.

ACT Policing has charged one man and another was being questioned last night.

It's alleged the two offenders forced their way into a Dods Place home about 8.30pm and assaulted the two men, aged 19 and 20. A 16-year-old girl was present but was not injured.

The men were later treated by ACT Ambulance officers for cuts and bruises.

A laptop and a wallet were allegedly stolen

Police attended a Khull Crescent, Kambah, address about 3.15am yesterday and arrested a 19-year-old man. He was charged with aggravated burglary and damage to property and has been held in the Regional Watch House. He is to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today. Police returned to a second Kambah home in Khull Crescent yesterday about 2pm and conducted a search.

A 20-year-old man from that home was being interviewed by police yesterday.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police and might have seen or heard any suspicious people or activity in Dods Place, Greenway, on Sunday night are urged to contact Crime Stoppers via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au or call 1800333000.
