Police have charged a 23-year-old man with culpable driving after his four-wheel drive allegedly ran over a man in his Kambah driveway.
Last night, the 33-year-old alleged victim was fighting for his life after suffering head injuries, multiple broken ribs, broken teeth and internal injuries.
Doctors at the Canberra Hospital took him into surgery within hours of the incident yesterday morning.
Police charged the driver after several hours of questioning yesterday. A police spokeswoman said the man arrested and the victim were known to each other.
