Drugs found in Chisholm raid

10 Apr, 2009 08:21 AM
Police are expected to lay drugs charges against two people following a raid at a Chisholm house yesterday.

Police including Special Response and Security, the K9 dog team and detectives from the Territory Investigations Group swooped on the property at about 5:45am Thursday morning.

The pre-dawn raid saw police seize what they claim could be a trafficable amount of amphetamines, a small amount of cannabis, suspected steroids and stolen items including laptop computers, motor vehicle parts, cameras and camera parts.

Police are expected to summons a 25-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man to face drug charges.

The man and woman are expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court in the near future.
