It won't be easy for Terry Campese to come back from ''la la land'' before tomorrow night.
But this one's for Sarah and Billie Gabriel.
Well, at least Campese hopes he'll be able to dedicate a Canberra Raiders victory in Penrith to his wife and new daughter.
The Raiders captain definitely owes his wife a favour or two.
The couple decided to induce Sarah late on Wednesday night so Campese could switch his focus to the Raiders' NRL semi-final clash with the Penrith Panthers at CUA Stadium.
''I'm on top of the world,'' a beaming Campese said.
''It's everything people say, but you can't prepare for it and it's the best feeling ever when the little one comes out.
''I'll remember this for the rest of my life and it's definitely up there with the best experience I've had.
''When I picked her up it was just awesome. I was moving around by myself in la la land ... as happy as Larry.
''I'll definitely be thinking of both Sarah and Billie when I run out on Saturday night. It's someone else to play for and hopefully I can make them proud and win the game.
The nervous wait for the birth of their first child ended after 11 hours of labour at 11.09am yesterday when at 4.08kg (9lbs) and 52cm Billie Gabriel Campese entered the world at Calvary John James Hospital in Deakin.
