Indecent act: police issue face-fit

02 Sep, 2010 01:25 PM
Police have released a face-fit image of a man who exposed himself to a teenage boy in Rivett on Tuesday.

About 9pm the 14-year-old boy was walking home from a bus stop in Brierly Street, Weston, when he noticed a late-model silver BMW sedan bearing black and white ACT registration plates suspiciously drive up and down the street.

As the boy walked along Hindmarsh Drive and onto Streeton Drive in Rivett, he observed the same BMW following behind him. When he turned onto a footpath the BMW stopped at the pathway and the driver got out and walked over to him.

The driver attempted to engage the boy in conversation before exposing himself and conducting an indecent act in front him.

The offender is described as a Caucasian male, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, about 152cm tall, with a medium build and shaved head. He was wearing an open brown waist-length coat with pink underwear underneath.

Anyone who may be able to assist police with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
