ACTPLA confirmed yesterday it had not abandoned a separate proposal for a much larger lake – despite indicating two months ago it had done just that. A spokesman said yesterday that ‘‘a lake on the Molonglo River is one of the options for stormwater management in the Molonglo Valley’’.
‘‘Further investigations, including a triple bottom line analysis, will be undertaken over the next 12 months or so,’’ he said. ‘‘Results will inform the ACT Government’s decision on the most appropriate stormwater management option.
