ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Curtin Liquor Legends on Saturday, July 31.

About 8.50pm two men entered the store. One headed to the spirits section while the second went into the cool room. The latter returned with two cases of beer and as he walked towards the counter, dropped one of them on the floor. A staff member went to assist and was punched four times in the head. Both men then ran from the store.

The first man is described as in his early 20s, about 180cm (5’11”) tall, with short hair and a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with a multi coloured logo on the front and black tracksuit pants with three white stripes down the leg.

The second man is described as islander in appearance, about 180cm (5’11”) tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a white coloured short sleeve shirt, black tracksuit pants and a black beanie.

Anyone who may be able to assist police with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website. Information may be provided anonymously.
