Sex aids lined up for identification parade in teacher trial evidence

21 May, 2009 08:09 AM
Prosecutors paraded 15 dildos and vibrators through a Canberra courtroom yesterday as part of their case against a teacher accused of sex with a student.

The toys, described by police as ''marital aids'' and ''sexual aids'', were allegedly found in the bedroom of former St Francis Xavier College teacher Tania Tominac.

Tominac, a married mother-of-three, is standing trial in the ACT Supreme Court for allegedly having sex with the male student several times in 2005 when the boy was 14.

Detective Acting Sergeant Peter Southwell told the court yesterday that the 15 items were seized from Tominac's bedroom when sex abuse detectives swooped on the teacher's house in September 2007.
