Shillington charged with drink driving

23 Dec, 2009 02:44 PM
Canberra Raiders and Australian prop David Shillington will face the ACT Magistrates Court in the new year, after he was charged with drink driving earlier this month.

Shillington was breath tested during Operation Unite, a national police blitz, on December 11.

The 26-year-old recorded a reading of .115, more than twice the legal limit.

Shillington made his Australian and Queensland debuts this year, after joining the Raiders from the Sydney Roosters.

He toured Europe as part of the Kangaroos squad in October and November.
