Dubai Group1 winners Gladiatorus and Eastern Anthem will rejoin the Godolphin stable to chase European honours next season.
Both horses romped to success at the weekend for UAE trainer Mubarak Bin Shafya. But Sheikh Mohammed's European racing manager, Simon Crisford, confirmed they would return to his boss's global operation.
''Gladiatorus and Eastern Anthem are both part of the Godolphin team and they will run in our blue colours in Europe this summer,'' Crisford said.
Front-runner Gladiatorus won the $US5million Dubai Duty Free over 1777m at Nad al Sheba by a dominant 314 lengths, leaving Australian contenders, Niconero (fourth) and Tuesday's Joy (ninth) in his wake.
Eastern Anthem came from last to win the 2400m Dubai Sheema Classic by a nose from British challengers, Spanish Moon and Purple Moon.
Both horses, ridden at Nad al Sheba by former camel jockey Ahmed Ajtebi, raced in Godolphin colours last year.
News of their European plans followed confirmation the stable would target America's Kentucky Derby with UAE Derby winner Regal Ransom and runner-up Desert Party. The Godolphin pair finished 15 lengths ahead of the rest of the field on Saturday. AAP
