You'd expect 13 years in the national squad, two Commonwealth Games and two world championships to sufficiently subdue any nerves Catherine Cox could experience.
But the veteran shooter admitted to pre-camp jitters ahead of rejoining the Australian Diamonds after missing the majority of the 2008 international season.
The Diamonds are in the middle of a five-day training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport as coach Norma Plummer puts her players through their paces.
Plummer will cut her 22-strong squad to 12 on Monday for its five games against the New Zealand Silver Ferns next month.
Cox made her international debut against South Africa in 1997 and has won Commonwealth Games and world championship gold medals.
