Campese's ready to bark orders

24 Apr, 2009 08:02 AM
Canberra Raiders five-eighth Terry Campese has pledged to play his usual dominant on-field role against the Bulldogs on Sunday, despite being hampered by a foot injury.

Campese is yet to resume full training since bruising his foot while attempting a field goal during last week's loss to the Gold Coast Titans, and missed last night's ball-work session.

He will have a light run by himself today, before attempting to take part in tomorrow's captain's run ahead of the Canberra Stadium clash.

He missed last nights ball work session because he was on the footy show. I think he did a great job showing everyone his sense of humour. He's a nice bloke ,good on you Terry.

I also saw him on last night's show and I was super impressed by the way this young man carries himself, both on and off the field. He is a credit to the game and his family, although I once got into an altercation with his uncle in Queanbeyan when I questioned him about his "goose step" and whether it was really necessary to use such a complicated manoeuvre just to run down the field.

The cream always rises to the top. Just hope the big wigs put their hand in their pockets to ensure that we keep him.

Bravo Alan, excellent point. It is about time someone put this forum back on track. Raiders by plenty on Sunday afternoon. Lets turn Bruce Stadium back into the Wrecking Yard.
