Canberra Raiders centre Jarrod Croker says he will do everything he can to ruin Israel Folau's hopes of an NRL fairytale tonight.
Despite giving away 9kg and 11cm to the giant Brisbane Broncos centre, Croker is confident he can diffuse Folau's aerial assault.
The Raiders can secure a finals berth if they beat the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
With Canberra poised to keep the Broncos out of the top eight for the first time in 19 seasons, the round-26 clash could be Folau's last NRL match before he joins new AFL franchise Team GWS next year.
Croker knows his 195cm opponent can easily out-mark him. So the 19-year-old's job will be to impede Folau's massive leap and make sure Raiders winger Reece Robinson gets an uncontested jump at the ball.
''He's going to be pumped up for his last game,'' Croker said. ''He's massive, he's got eight or nine [kilograms] on me so it's going to be tough.
''Kicking to him is one of their strengths and they play to it a lot. So I'll be looking for that, I'll be trying to help Reece get the best jump he can.
''Then we've just got to try and diffuse all the high balls they send our way.''
