ROOKIE Raiders centre Jarrod Croker believes his team can continue piling on the points against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium tomorrow, despite the absence of NSW five-eighth Terry Campese.
The Raiders tallied their highest score of the season last week, running in seven tries to smash the New Zealand Warriors 38-12.
Campese played a big part in the demolition job, scoring a try and having a hand in several others.
Croker was confident his team still had plenty of points in it despite Campese's absence.
He said it was defence, not attack, the Raiders needed to be worried about against the Rabbitohs.
''They've got blokes like Nathan Merritt, Luke Capewell and Chris Sandow who can throw anything at you,'' Croker said.
''It's definitely going to be an attacking game, which is why we've got to work on defence a lot.''
Croker backed the inexperienced halves pairing of Marc Herbert and Josh McCrone to get the job done against the Rabbitohs.
''Joshy fits in quite well and he's played with Herby before, so I think we'll be fine,'' he said.
''I'm going to have to step up and maybe talk a bit more, because Campo is a fairly good talker.
''But Joshy is a good talker as well so it shouldn't change too much.''
Raiders coach David Furner is confident his team will cope without Campese.
