Disjointed start has Miller in disbelief

15 Mar, 2010 08:06 AM
A Mal Meninga medal curse or simply bad luck?

Either way Josh Miller is filthy the first month of his 2010 NRL season could be spent watching from the sideline.

A devastated Miller injured his left shoulder less than 10 minutes into the Canberra Raiders' 34-16 loss to the Penrith Panthers last Saturday night.

He will have scans today to determine the full extent of the damage to his AC joint.

While his teammates prepare for their clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Canberra Stadium next Monday, Miller will sweat on favourable medical results.

''It still feels a little bit unstable, I'm just going to do as much as I can now to get it ready,'' Miller said.

''I've got my heart set on only being out for a month."
