Canberra fullback Josh Dugan responded to his shock NRL axing with a starring performance during the Raiders' 24-16 Toyota Cup win over the Melbourne Storm at Olympic Park last night.
Dugan had two try assists and was rock solid in defence, as the Raiders scored the opening five tries against the previously ladder-leading Storm.
The Raiders then held out the fast-finishing home side, which scored the final three tries of the game.
Dugan's only blemishes were three missed conversions and a loose pass that nearly resulted in a second-half try to the Storm.
