Furner hints at changes for Warriors clash

20 May, 2009 11:44 AM
Canberra Raiders coach David Furner doesn't have a simple answer for his team's dismal start to the NRL season.

What he does know is the Raiders can start farewelling their finals aspirations if they don't show an immediate improvement in form against the New Zealand Warriors at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.

In an attempt to snap a four-game losing streak, Furner put his players on notice and hinted there would be surprise changes to his squad ahead of the round 11 clash.

Canberra slumped to its seventh loss from just nine games this season when it was thrashed by the Melbourne Storm 46-6 on Monday night.
