NSW forward Tom Learoyd-Lahrs is expected to line up for the Canberra Raiders against the Bulldogs despite not being named in the side yesterday.
Raiders coach David Furner resisted the temptation to rush back the Origin representative, making only one change to the side that trounced the hapless Brisbane Broncos by 56 points at Canberra Stadium last Saturday.
Furner named experienced forward Josh Miller at lock after Nigel Plum was ruled out for four to six weeks with an ankle injury.
Miller's promotion into the starting side moves utility Trevor Thurling back into the 17, with youngster Shaun Fensom coming into the squad as 18th man.
Learoyd-Lahrs yesterday declared himself ready to return from a medial ligament injury to his knee against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.
An opposed training session this afternoon will determine if Raiders team management agrees.
''I'm expecting to play [and] preparing as though I'm playing,'' Learoyd-Lahrs said. ''[Tonight] is the opposed session so I'll into that and if I can come out the other side of that I'll be ready to play.''
