CANBERRA back-rower Tom Learoyd-Lahrs admits his chances of playing State of Origin on Wednesday are slim and says he is now fully focused on the Raiders' clash with Manly at Brookvale Oval today.
Learoyd-Lahrs remains an outside chance of making his NSW debut, if Cronulla enforcer Paul Gallen succumbs to a shoulder injury.
The 23-year-old will re-enter the NSW camp after today's clash with the Sea Eagles and will serve as the Blues' 18th man, unless Gallen is a late withdrawal.
''It would have been good to get a run in the actual [Origin] game, but never mind,'' Learoyd-Lahrs said.
''Instead I get to come back and play for Canberra and it's a game that's really important for the team and we've got to win.
''My focus is on that and once that's said and done I'll go back into camp and soak it up and take what I can out of the experience.
''I think [Gallen] is probably better than he's letting on, he's missing out on a bit of training, but I think that's just to give it as good a chance as possible to get it right.
