Hulking Raiders back-rower Tom Learoyd-Lahrs insists his booming hit on South Sydney hardman Roy Asotasi last night was ''more arse than class''.
He also reckons State of Origin couldn't be further in the back of his mind.
But if he continues his outstanding form it won't be too long before it's impossible for him to make such understatements.
Learoyd-Lahrs produced another powerful display against the Rabbitohs last night, scoring a try and pulling off a bell-ringer on Asotasi, as the Raiders chalked up a much-needed 34-18 win.
Today he will continue his stellar month when he signs a two-year contract extension with the Raiders.
Learoyd-Lahrs was at pains to play down his form after the match, saying he was still searching for greater consistency.
But coach David Furner gave his most dynamic forward a rap, saying he and the rest of his pack had been very impressive.
''He's put together a couple of really good, solid games,'' Furner said.
''He's athletic, he's big. Tommy has certainly been very powerful.
''But I've got to give guys like Josh Miller and [Scott] Logan and [Dane] Tilse a mention.
''They just all put their hands up collectively I thought our forward pack were very good.''
