The Raiders have vowed to display a rejuvenated on-field attitude against the Brisbane Broncos at Canberra Stadium today, as they seek to erase the memory of last week's disappointing loss to Wests Tigers.
Raiders coach David Furner and captain Alan Tongue both admitted their team had lacked its usual effort and spark at crucial stages last week, leading to what was probably its worst performance of the year.
But after a week of soul searching Furner said fans would see a ''different side'' today, while Tongue promised the Raiders would display some positive, attacking football.
''There's no hiding from the fact that we were pretty disappointing last week,'' Tongue said.
''I think the effort that we've shown all year to the crowd and to ourselves within the team has been pretty good. We've lost some matches, but you can't doubt the effort that we've put in.
''But last week we just didn't have that spark there. Against a Broncos side that's pretty desperate there's no better opportunity to fix that than this week.''
Prop Scott Logan is likely to be a late inclusion in the Raiders side, despite still carrying a rib injury.
If Logan plays it will probably be at the expense of fellow front-rower Troy Thompson, who is battling a groin injury and the flu.
