Raiders coach David Furner will today name ex-Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney flyer Reece Robinson in his side for Canberra's first pre-season trial match.
The Raiders play the Western Suburb Magpies at West Belconnen on Saturday. Furner will use the match to test out his fringe players while resting the bulk of his main squad. Canberra under-20s graduates Matt Ward and Jarrad Kennedy will get a chance to impress the coach while last year's Toyota Cup skipper Mick Picker will get an opportunity to display his skills as the team's halfback.
Eleven of the Raiders' top squad will play with the rest of the team made up of under-20s players.
