Raiders need to find killer instinct

TERRY Campese says the Canberra Raiders must become more ruthless if they are to be a force in the NRL this season.

The Raiders showed some exciting glimpses of form during last night's 32-24 trial loss to the Brisbane Broncos at Ballymore Stadium.

They had the Broncos on the rocks for the majority of the opening half, playing expansive football off the back of their forward dominance.

After conceding a try to Broncos centre Israel Folau after just three minutes, the Raiders dictated play, made good field position and created chances.

Tries to Joel Monaghan and Campese followed.
