Joel Monaghan's had plenty of slaps on the back since Sunday, including a painful one by a flipper-wielding Terry Campese yesterday.
But Monaghan said the Raiders' shock 26-16 win over the Melbourne Storm would mean nothing if they didn't beat the Gold Coast Titans at Canberra Stadium this Sunday.
The win over the Storm, the Raiders' first against Melbourne since round 26 of the 2002 season, kept the Green Machine's faint hopes of a top-eight finish alive.
The Raiders sit 13th on the ladder, two wins shy of the top-eight, but a loss to the Titans on Sunday will severely damage their finals hopes.
Monaghan will look to continue the form which saw him score two tries and play a hand in three others in the breakthrough win over the Storm.
''After a disappointing Wednesday night [playing for NSW in its State of Origin loss to Queensland] to come back here and get a win against Melbourne, who we haven't beaten in seven years, I'm very happy and I thought it was our best performance all year,'' Monaghan said yesterday.
''Obviously they were favourites and it was a credit to our team we went out and played that well.
''[But] we've got to build on the win, it we turn around this week and don't play the same [against the Titans] it's going to be a waste.
''Everyone's injury free and we've got a long week so everyone's looking forward to it.''
