Raiders snare Tigers' second rower

25 Sep, 2008 04:09 PM
Second rower Bronson Harrison has left Wests Tigers to join NRL rivals Canberra Raiders on a three-year deal.

Wests Tigers granted Harrison a release from his contract despite having another year to run.

The 22-year-old was a Leichhardt Wanderers junior, rising through the ranks of the Balmain Tigers before making his first grade debut for Wests Tigers against North Queensland in April, 2004.

He went on to play 79 first grade games for the Tigers, scoring 10 tries, and also represented New Zealand in one Test in 2005.
