Canberra Raiders back-rower Tom Learoyd-Lahrs says he will be ''fresh as a daisy'' for tomorrow's clash with Penrith, after having limited game time during his State of Origin debut for NSW on Wednesday.
But the Raiders are likely to be without David Shillington for the crunch clash with the Panthers at CUA Stadium, after the Queensland prop suffered a suspected torn pectoral muscle.
Learoyd-Lahrs returned to Canberra yesterday afternoon, still riding on a high after playing a part in NSW's fiery 28-16 victory at Suncorp Stadium.
The 23-year-old said he wanted to use his representative experience to help the Raiders launch an unlikely finals campaign.
''I'm feeling pretty good actually, I got out of it pretty much unscathed,'' Learoyd-Lahrs said.
''I didn't get that much field time, I only got about half an hour, so I should be fresh as a daisy for the weekend.
''Now I can up the ante I suppose on a week-to-week basis. I definitely think it will help my game.''
Shillington injured his pectoral muscle while attempting a tackle during the second half of his debut and was assessed by Raiders medical staff late last night.
If he is ruled out his place in the Raiders' line-up will be taken by either Joe Picker or Glen Turner.
