WEST Belconnen Warriors coach Adam Peters claimed redemption drove his side to its 60-18 thumping of the Woden Rams at Belconnen yesterday.
The Warriors' only loss this season came at the hands of the Rams, going down 36-16 in round four.
''It was a bit of redemption because they embarrassed us when we ran out against them last time,'' Peters said.
''It was good for us to reciprocate. I thought it was a dominant performance by our boys.''
The Warriors never looked worried against the fourth-placed Rams, leading 24-8 at the break before running in a further 26 points in the second half.
Warriors fullback Liam Taylor starred, scoring a hat-trick and booting eight goals for a personal tally of 28 points.
Taylor leapfrogged Queanbeyan Blues winger Wiremu Hei-Hei as the competition's leading try scorer, goalkicker and point scorer.
