Brumbies a chance to host a Super semi

20 Apr, 2009 08:07 AM
Suddenly, a home semi-final is a realistic possibility for the ACT Brumbies.

So congested is the Super14 ladder a month out from the play-offs, the Brumbies are in contention to be one of the top two team's at the end of the regular season.

At the completion of round 10 yesterday morning, the Brumbies were seventh on the ladder.

They are only two points from fourth position and four points from first. This, despite having the same 6-3 win/loss ratio as the Waikato Chiefs, who are on top of the table. (The Brumbies have secured only three bonus points.)
