Resisting the urge to lash out in response to eye gouges, squirrel grips and other deep-in-the-ruck nasties has been a challenge for the ACT Brumbies so far on their French tour.
And with England goalkicking master Jonny Wilkinson expected to line up for Toulon against the Brumbies on Friday morning, maintaining discipline under duress will be essential.
The Brumbies finish their four-match tour against a team best known for the big-spending ways of club owner Mourad Boudjellal.
George Gregan, Tana Umaga, Jerry Collins, Victor Matfield and Andrew Mehrtens have all played for Toulon in recent years thanks largely to the multi-millionaire's largesse.
The current squad boasts big names in Wilkinson, Argentine flyhalf Felippe Contepomi, former Springbok Joe van Niekerk, former Brumby and Wallaby Matt Henjak and, of course, NRL escapee Sonny Bill Williams.
While the Brumbies will be on guard for Williams's trademark shoulder charges, it will be Wilkinson, who joined Toulon in a bid to restart his international career, who will capture most attention.
Brumbies flyhalf Matt Toomua said, ''I've watched him since I was pretty young. Obviously with his injuries it's been unfortunate I haven't seen him play as much, but he's a guy I've always looked up to.''
