BEN Alexander's mobile phone ''has rung hot for six months'' with requests for free tickets to Saturday night's Test match against Italy at Canberra Stadium.
But like all good sons, it's not hard to guess who won out in the end.
''Mum and dad a long time ago shotgunned tickets so they get two of the four we're allocated,'' Alexander said.
''Then there's the three brothers [Tom, Hugh and Jess] but obviously there's only two tickets left so I'm going to have to buy one and give it to them.
''As for the boys, my mates, a lot bought tickets as soon as they went on sale and the rest will just have to fork out for themselves, if there's any left.''
Alexander is likely to again play for the Wallabies in Canberra when they host Italy in the first official Test of the season.
The prop came off the bench during last night's game against the Barbarians in Sydney. The match didn't count as a Wallabies cap because the opposition was not an official Test-playing nation.
