Friend has a bullish feeling about Pretoria's title hopes

ACT Brumbies coach Andy Friend has backed the Pretoria Bulls to storm to Super 14 supremacy for the second time in three years when the finals series begins this weekend.

Still coming to grips with his team's exit from the top four, Friend said the Bulls' home ground advantage and ability to win tight matches set them apart from the rest of the title contenders.

The Brumbies missed their chance to continue their season when they lost to the Waikato Chiefs at Hamilton last Friday night.

Friend and the squad returned to Canberra on Saturday night and while the coach tipped the Bulls, he conceded any team could win this year's title.
