Police have conducted raids on the Melbourne offices of Dr Philip Nitschke's pro-euthanasia group, Exit International, over the alleged assisted suicide of a man in June.

Victorian detectives seized documents in Doncaster related to the June death of Brisbane man Frank Ward, 76.
A second property in NSW was raided hours later.
Documents and the euthanasia drug Nembutal were seized, according to reports.
Queensland Police have confirmed a search warrant was executed on its behalf in Victoria as part of an "ongoing investigation", but a spokeswoman refused to comment further.
The probe by Hendra detectives reportedly involves the death of Mr Ward earlier this year.
Dr Nitschke has told a New Zealand television network the organisation had not helped Mr Ward commit suicide.
''He had made contact with the organisation and was looking at options due to the quality of his life and towards ending his life at some stage," Dr Nitschke told TVNZ.
"He was certainly ill.
"They were suggesting we were involved in his death but we were not. We would never be actively involved in something like that, helping him end his life, which would be committing a crime."
Dr Nitschke, who is currently giving lectures in the US, said police had the raid on Exit International's Doncaster office, in Melbourne's north-east, had been totally unexpected.
"They took files and documents from the database related to four people, including our office manager Lindy Body and the dead man," he said.
"We haven't had any incidents like this for a long time. The idea of turning up suddenly, unannounced and then to act this way suggests at least they find some difficulty in dealing with our organisation and that's a little bit concerning. We've always been very cooperative."
