Controversial Parramatta chief executive Denis Fitzgerald's 30-year association with the NRL club is officially over.
"Denis Fitzgerald and the Parramatta Leagues Club Limited have mutually agreed to end the employment relationship after 30 years of service," a statement from the club released on Tuesday said.
"The President, Mr Roy Spagnolo, on behalf of the board and the members thanks Mr Fitzgerald for his service to the club and wish him well in the next phase of his career."
Fitzgerald, whose power base was effectively eroded when five new directors from the Rebel 3P group were voted on to the leagues club's board on April 26, had been stood down on May 5 pending an investigation into the recent board election.
The statement said neither Fitzgerald nor the club were at liberty to disclose the terms of the agreement reached as it was also agreed that it remain confidential.
