Christians have impact

Your excellent feature on "Aussie inventions that made a global impact" (Sunday Times, January 23) might include a couple of Christian innovations that have been widely copied.

One is the Flying Doctor Service, founded by John Flynn, Presbyterian Minister.

The other is the Lifeline telephone counselling service, founded by Alan Walker, Methodist Minister.

Both innovations have saved countless lives.
