A routine traffic stop turned into a raid on a home near Goulburn where drugs and weapons were allegedly found, according to police.
A 22-year-old man was driving his Holden along Farm Road about 4pm on Thursday when police stopped him and discovered his driver’s licence had been suspended.
Police then searched the car, allegedly found some ecstasy powder, and arrested the man.
Detectives then obtained a search warrant for the man’s home, where they allegedly found a variety of drugs, including methylamphetamine, LSD, and cannabis, as well as cash, drug-making equipment, and a baton and ammunition.
The man was due to face Goulburn Local Court on Friday charged with numerous drug and weapon offences.
